Dana has been working as a bookkeeper for 13 years, originally starting out as an administrative assistant but after discovering the world of accounting, realized that bookkeeping was where she wanted to take her career. She has a love for making sense of the numbers and helping businesses put organized and efficient processes in place.
Dana joined the Hawkins team in February 2021 and is excited to be learning all kinds of new technology and ways to make accounting even more fun and proficient. Hawkins has an amazing system in place that allows new staff to learn and grow with the team. “Even working from a remote position across the country, I feel like I’m an important part of the team – the amazing, welcoming, and supportive Hawkins team”.
When she’s not working you will find Dana and her son enjoying everything the mountains have to offer. Hiking, biking, paddle boarding, camping, skiing to name a few. She plays competitive slo pitch in the summer months and enjoys taking long road trips with her son and dog.
