Having spent nearly a decade working across the accounting world, Madeline helps businesses keep their finances clear, accurate, and structured for success. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting (2022), and is currently pursuing her CPA designation (expected 2028). While her background spans both public and private firms with solid experience in FP&A, her true sweet spot is full-cycle bookkeeping, system conversions, and rolling up her sleeves for a deep-dive bookkeeping cleanup.
Beyond the numbers, Madeline values the human side of business. She has spent significant time developing internal training programs, mentoring team members, and supporting HR functions like payroll and policy creation. She is especially passionate about optimizing workflows for small business owners—leveraging technology and updated procedures to eliminate inefficiencies and make daily operations feel effortless. By taking the time to truly listen to business owners, Madeline uncovers both their expressed and unspoken needs, aiming to take the stress off their shoulders so their businesses can thrive.
Outside the office, Madeline enjoys spending quality time with her large, close-knit family, usually gathered around the dinner table. Madeline’s favourite meal is one entirely made up of appetizers and she loves taking scenic summer drives through Essex County with her husband, Marcel. At home, she is kept company by her two lovely cats, Jane and Maria.
